- Integrating sustainability across all operations, curriculum, and research.
- Embedding sustainability in our culture and practices through engagement with staff, students, employers, and partners in the community and in government.
- Becoming known as the leading sustainable university in Australia and a leader internationally.

Sustainability Week
La Trobe Sustainability Week was held in March 2024 and had a range of opportunities to learn about sustainability at La Trobe and for everyone to have their say.

Consultation Period
From March to August 2024, we had a consultation period to get community input on the Strategy. Our community engagement website provided an opportunity for everyone to have their say and to answer some key questions through a survey and a digital ideas wall. We also had events to engage with students, staff, and the community, and focused internal workshops with key stakeholders.
